JCD's Ledford, Shawe's Stuart Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

These two can score and rebound in bunches.

(Osgood, Ind.) - Student-athletes from Jac-Cen-Del and Shawe Memorial high schools have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC report for the week of January 7-12 was released on Wednesday. 

Jac-Cen-Del's Paige Ledford was selected as the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week. Ledford averaged 16.5 points and 15 rebounds over a two-game span. She also connected on 100 percent of her free throws. 

The Lady Eagles standout currently leads the ORVC in rebounding at 11.5 per game. 

Shawe Memorial's Ethan Stuart took home ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week honors. Stuart totaled 40 points and 16 rebounds in two games last week. 

For the season, Stuart is averaging 15.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
