INDIANPOLIS - The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association has released their 2021 Boys Tennis Academic All-State Team and All-District Teams.
East Central and Batesville were recognized as Team Academic All-State selections. To be considered for the award, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 non-weighted scale.
Individually, East Central’s Ray Krider and Franklin County’s Jack Stern were named to the 2021 IHSTCA Boys Tennis Academic All-State Team.
The honor goes to seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.8, minimum SAT score of 1280 or ACT score of 27, and a participant in a minimum of 50 percent of varsity contests.
For Krider, he was an IHSTCA All-District player in District 8.

The 2021 IHSTCA Boys Tennis All-State Team has yet to be determined.
