First of Six SIRC Races Happens June 28 in Rushville

The summer road racing series supports area high school cross country programs.

(Southeastern Indiana) - Six road races will be held this summer to support area high school cross country programs. 

The Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit begins on Saturday, June 28 at 8:30 a.m. with the Lions Pride 5K in Rushville. 

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Rushville cross country program.

The rest of the 2025 SIRC Schedule is as follows: 

  • July 12 - Trojan Trot 5K in St. Leon
  • July 19 - Tigers Trail 5K in Lawrenceburg
  • July 26 - Lakeside 5K in Brookville
  • August 2 - Indian Trails 5K in Milan
  • August 9 - Bulldog Chase 5K in Batesville

*Each race will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Participate in four of six SIRC races and get your name in a drawing for cash prizes at the last race. Participate in five of the six SIRC races and you get your name in twice. The awards are given out by random drawing in two age groups: 19 and under and 20 and above. The awards in each of these two groups are $200, $150, $100, $50.
