EC's Fox, Trabel Will Make History at Upcoming Indiana All-Star Series Games

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Hope Fox and Josie Trabel are just days away from doing something no other East Central High School basketball player has ever done.

Trabel and Fox are the first players in school history to be selected as Indiana All-Stars.

On Sunday, Trabel will play in the Indiana Junior All-Star Game at Bedford North Lawrence High School.

Fox will play in three different games as part of the Indiana Senior All-Star Game experience.

East Central girls’ varsity head coach Kevin Moore will also take part in the Senior All-Star Game experience as an assistant coach. He provided the following statement:

“I'm proud to say that I get another week to coach Hope Fox as one of the selected Indiana All-Star coaches. Winning championships and games is really all I care about but from a coaching "award" standpoint, this is something that I'll cherish forever and I'm so glad it happened in the same year that these two accomplished and deserving players were selected.”

"I sure hope many Future Trojan players (HS, MS, and youth) are able to attend one of these games to see what hard work, dedication, and perseverance can get you one day.   Hope and Josie were once "Future Trojans" and earned their way to this accomplishment and so could other Future Trojans!"

The schedule of events for the Indiana Junior and Senior All-Star Games is listed below.

Josie Trabel - Indiana Junior All-Star Game

• Date: Sunday, June 5th
• Time: 2pm (boys game to follow) 
• Location: Bedford North Lawrence High School 
• Opponent: The Indiana Junior All-Stars will play the Kentucky Junior All-Stars 
• Cost: $8 at the door

Hope Fox - Indiana Senior All-Star Game

The Indiana Senior All-Stars will play (3) different games as part of their All-Star experience.  Here are your chances to watch Hope.

Game 1: Wednesday, June 8th

• Time: 6pm (boys game to follow) 
• Location: Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School 
• Opponent: The Seniors will face the Indiana Junior All-Stars (Josie will not be playing in this game) 
• Cost: $8 at the door

Game 2: Friday, June 10th 

• Time: 6:30pm
• Location: Owensboro Sportscenter in Owensboro, KY
• Opponent: Kentucky Senior All-Stars
• Cost: $10 at the door

Game 3: Saturday, June 11th

• Time: 5pm
• Location: Southport High School (Pacers arena is under construction now)
• Opponent: Kentucky Senior All-Stars 
• Cost: $10-$25 at the door
• ***Josie Trabel will also be on hand to be introduced at this game
