(St. Leon, Ind.) - Runners in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference will be glad to see Emma Fey graduate this spring.

Fey, a track & field star at East Central, recently signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at St. Mary of the Woods College, which is the oldest Catholic college in the state and Indiana - located just northwest of Terre Haute.

The Lady Trojans star has had a decorated high school career, including a trip to the IHSAA Track & Field State Finals a year ago. Fey, along with Eva Grimm, Taylor Messmore, and Abigail Bittner finished 11th in the state in the 4x400 meter relay and set a new school record at 3:57.39.

More recently, Fey was a winner in the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay at the Best of the West Track Meet at Oak Hills High School last week.

At St. Mary of the Woods, Fey plans to study Nursing.
