(Vevay, Ind.) - Switzerland County junior Cam Craig scored his 1,000th career point on Saturday night.
Craig's milestone moment came on a fast break layup in a 76-25 win over New Washington. He would end the contest with a game-high 40 points.
It was Craig's second 40-point performance of the season, each coming within the last three games. He's come close to 40 points three other times this season, scoring 39 twice and 37 once.
Craig currently leads the ORVC in scoring at 25.8 points per game.
His ascent to 1,000 career points is an impressive feat, considering Craig missed much of his sophomore season due to injury.
The Pacers have four more games to round out their regular season:
- at Jac-Cen-Del (Feb. 19)
- at Gallatin County (Feb. 20)
- vs. Madison (Feb. 22)
- at South Dearborn (Feb. 23)
