(Batesville, Ind.) - Former Batesville High School basketball star Colt Meyer can score the basketball.
The IU East senior recently eclipsed the 1,000 career point mark in an 87-82 loss to Alice Lloyd (Ky.) on Saturday.
Meyer had a team high 18 points on 6-of-13-shooting.
After starting his college career at Thomas More University, Meyer has spent the last three seasons at IU East. As a junior, he averaged 18.9 points per game. His average has jumped to 19.8 points this season, good for sixth in the River States Conference.
