Cole Henry Becomes South Ripley's All-Time Leading Scorer

Cody Samples previously held the record since 2021.

(Versailles, Ind.) - It took 43 years for someone to break Steve Allen's all-time scoring record at South Ripley High School. Cody Samples was the one to do it in 2021, but he didn't get to hold the title for all that long.

On Saturday, senior Cole Henry passed Cody Samples (1,429) on South Ripley's all-time scoring list.

Henry entered the weekend needing 27 points to break the school scoring record. He put up 23 at Connersville on Friday, and scored 14 points in a win over Lawrenceburg on Saturday to become South Ripley's all-time scoring leader.

Henry has five more regular season games to add to his scoring total, plus however many postseason games the Raiders play.

South Ripley is currently (17-0) and ranked #1 in Class 2A in the USA Poll and #3 in the AP Poll.
