Former SDHS baseball players will be offered free admission to Friday's game.

(Aurora, Ind.) - South Dearborn High School baseball alumni are invited to celebrate Coach Jay Malott's 38 years of dedicated service to the South Dearborn baseball program.
Malott will be recognized during Friday's game at 5:30 p.m. against Switzerland County.
All baseball alumni will receive free admission and are asked to sign in at the ticket gate.
Malott served 29 years as South Dearborn head coach, amassing 406 career wins, five sectional titles, three conference championships, and the school's only baseball regional title during the 2007 season.
He announced his retirement in July of 2024. Austin Bowling, who was an assistant to Malott during the 2022 season, has since taken over as head coach of the Knights
The invitation to attend Friday's game provides a great opportunity for former players to:
- Show their appreciation for Coach Malott.
- Reconnect with teammates and the program.
- Witness the current team in action.
- Be a part of this special recognition event.
