Batesville's Davalos Joins Club Team For National League Play

The Lady Bulldogs standout is a member of one of the best soccer club's in Indiana.

(Batesville, Ind.) – A Batesville High School soccer standout has helped her club team earn an opportunity that doesn’t come around often.

Denise Davalos is a member of Indy Premier Soccer Club’s U17 Girls Elite team that has qualified for U.S. Soccer National League play, reports The Batesville Herald Tribune.

The team is just the fourth team in Indiana history to qualify for the National League.

Beginning in December and continuing through March, Davalos will play weekend tournaments in North Carolina, Florida and Nevada against 31 other teams from across the country.

The games will also be played in front of hundreds of college scouts.

Davalos certainly has a bright future based on her 2018 season stats. According to MaxPreps, she finished her sophomore season with nine goals and nine assists. 

Batesville will begin their 2019 campaign on Saturday, August 17 at Seymour.
