INDIANAPOLIS - Several area high school volleyball teams have been recognized for their work in the classroom.
The Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association today named their Team Academic Award recipients.
Locally, Batesville, Greensburg, Jennings County, Lawrenceburg, Oldenburg Academy, South Ripley, and Southwestern (Hanover) were among 60 teams to earn the award.
To earn the honor, a team's average GPA must be at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
