2025 EIAC Boys & Girls Track & Field All-Conference Teams Announces

(St. Leon, Ind.) - East Central and Batesville captured conference championships in track and field this spring. 

This week, both schools combined for 30 EIAC Track and Field All-Conference selections. 

On the girls' side, East Central won the EIAC behind eight all-conference selections, narrowly defeating Batesville by a score of 166.5 to 161.5. Lawrenceburg's Alahna Beinkemper was named Most Valuable. 

A list of conference championship event winners and this year's all-conference team are listed below. 

Girls Individual Winners

  • 100 Meter - Ava Merkel (LB), 12.64

  • Batesville - Addison Luers, Savannah Pohlman, Nora Wiedeman, Maggie Jelinek, Katherine Lipps, Maycee Holtkamp, Ella King
  • Lawrenceburg - Ava Merkel, Alahna Beinkemper (MVP)
  • Franklin County - Mackenzie Brzezinski, Esther George, Taylan Brewer, Ella Flannery

Batesville took home the EIAC championship on the boys' side, defeating second place East Central by a score of 162.5 to 145. The Bulldogs have 11 all-conference selections, including MVP Jake Chapman.
