Your Town, Your Voice: Sunman Residents Asked to Fill Out Comprehensive Plan Survey

The survey will help identify opportunities and challenges facing Sunman residents and businesses.

(Sunman, Ind.) - Sunman residents are asked to complete a Comprehensive Plan Survey.

The survey will assist town leaders and the planning team in identifying the opportunities and challenges facing Sunman residents and businesses. The results of the survey, along with community data and conversations with stakeholders, will serve as the foundation for drafting a community-wide vision for goals and projects that will guide Sunman's future.

The survey can be found here.

The Town of Sunman received an OCRA Development Grant in May to help fund the development of a multi-year comprehensive plan.

Since then, the town has partnered with HWC Engineering to create the plan, which will establish a vision for Sunman's future and help guide town officials when making decisions on future growth and development in the community.

Comprehensive plans typically include plans for land use, government capacity, public services, economic development, housing, transportation, broadband access, agriculture, and historic resources.

This plan will also be used by residents and businesses owners within Sunman, giving them a reference point when assessing the decisions made by community leaders.
