(Aurora, Ind.) - A pavement rehabilitation project on U.S. 50 west of Aurora is scheduled to begin on or after April 1 in Dearborn County.
Work will take place on U.S. 50 between State Road 350 and Dutch Hollow Road.
During Phase 1 of the project, all traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 using temporary crossovers while westbound construction is in progress. U.S. 50 will be reduced to 35 mph and an 11-foot lane width reduction will be in effect.
Additional traffic shifts will take place while overall work is in progress.
Overall work is expected to be complete in early November, weather permitting
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
