Batesville Girls Golf Captures 7th Straight Sectional Title

(Greensburg, Ind.) - The IHSAA Girls Golf State Tournament began over the weekend.

Twelve teams competed at Sectional 27 at Greensburg Country Club.

For the seventh straight season, the Batesville Bulldogs captured the Sectional Championship with a team score of 346. Greensburg placed second (362), followed by Franklin County in third (384). All three teams advance to the Regional.

Batesville sophomore Stella Maple took home the individual sectional title with a 79. Franklin County's Audrey Mears placed second with an 83. Alexis Gallager, of Batesville, was third, also with an 83.
