A pickup truck driver lost control on S.R. 121 near Old U.S. 52 Tuesday.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – A Metamora woman was hospitalized after crashing on State Road 121 on Tuesday, January 15.
Jamie M. Curtsinger, 40, was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck on S.R. 121 near Old U.S. 52 at around noon when a vehicle she was following slowed to make a turn. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Curtsinger lost control as she attempted to go around the turning vehicle. Her pickup went off of the roadway and struck and embankment.
Curtsinger was transported by Brookville EMS #2 to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville for treatment of minor injuries.
Sheriff’s deputies were also assisted in their investigation by the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department and Responder 24.
