(Sunman, Ind.) - There are new details about a robbery that happened at George's Pharmacy in Sunman last week.
The Ripley County Sheriff's Office says Rosa Zinser has been arrested in connection with the stick-up on Wednesday, May 2.
According to investigators, Zinser had been denied pain medication by a pain clinic and two emergency rooms just prior to carrying out the Sunman robbery.
Witnesses said Zinser pointed a gun at one employee during the robbery. She got away with multiple prescriptions.
Zinser was arrested without incident later the same day at a residence in Dearborn County.
Zinser had to be hospitalized for an apparent opioid overdose at the time of her arrest. She was later released and taken to the Ripley County Jail, where she remains held on a preliminary charge of Armed Robbery (level 3 felony) as the county prosecutor prepares formal charges.
