Winter Festivities Continue In Lawrenceburg This Weekend

Celebrations this weekend will include Breakfast with Santa, P.A.W.S Parade, and the Holiday Market.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg continues Winter Wonderland festivities this weekend with the Holiday Market, craft activities, breakfast with Santa, and more.

Breakfast with Santa will kick off Saturday celebrations at the Lawrenceburg Community Center from 9 - 11 AM.  This year, admission will be free and include breakfast, free photos with Santa, face painting, goody bags, and crafts.

Following breakfast, the Winter Wonderland Parade and P.A.W.S Pet Parade will begin at 12:30 PM with the route running down Walnut Street and turning left onto East High Street. 

Santa will arrive at the Lawrenceburg Civic Park at 1 PM.

The Annual Big Prize Giveaway be announced at 1:15 PM, following the parade. You can register at the Lawrenceburg City Hall parking lot from 11 AM - 1 PM. 

Additional activities for children will be happening from 11 AM - 2 PM at the City Hall parking lot. "Santa's Workshop" Craft Activities, the Holiday Express Train, Ice Carvers, Letters to Santa and the Southeastern Indiana Art Guild Bake Sale and Face Painting will be included. 

If you can't make it to the City Hall parking lot from 11 AM - 1 PM, you can head over to the Lawrenceburg Public Library from 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM for a full schedule of holiday activities. There will be holiday performances of "The Velveteen Rabbit" at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Santa and his reindeer will be in the Children's Garden from 12 - 2 PM. 

Welcoming its second weekend at the Civic Park, the Holiday Market at the Winter Wonderland Domes will continue Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 8. 

Open hours for the market will be Thursday, 4 - 8 PM; Friday, 4 - 9 PM; Saturday, 11 AM - 7 PM; Sunday, 12 - 5 PM.

Scent Alchemist (Perfumes & More), Accessories, Leggings & Handbags, CHIC and Niki’s Boutique (Women’s Clothing, Wine Accessories, Brumates, CC Beanies and Gifts – Friday through Sunday only), and Twisted Tater Food Truck will be the vendors filling the domes this weekend. 

Live Tree Sales by the FOP Auxiliary will continue at the Holiday Market. 6 -7 ft. Fasier Fir trees will be available for $55 each. Funds raised will benefit "Cops and Kids."

New to the Holiday Market is the chance to win $100 in Downtown Dollars to spend at many different shops and restaurants in Downtown Lawrenceburg. To be entered, all you must do is stop in one of the holiday domes at the Holiday Market - that's it!

Further activities will include a live performance by Michael T & Friends on Friday, December 6, from 5:30 - 8:30 PM, and a free short holiday film, "Trolls Holiday" on Saturday, December 7, at 5:30 PM.
