
(Gallatin County, Ky.) - A resurfacing project on a portion of U.S. 42 in Gallatin County will begin Monday, June 30.
The project will take place near Nucor Steel and extend east to the north ramps of KY 1039.
Weather permitting, base failure repairs are scheduled to begin Monday, June 30. Milling and paving operations will follow beginning on Monday, July 7.
During daytime working hours, a single lane closure will be in place with flaggers on-site to direct traffic through the work zone. Motorists should plan ahead and expect delays, particularly during peak travel hours.
