By Mike Perleberg (Cambridge City, Ind.) - There was just one winning ticket for Friday's $540 million Mega Millions jackpot, and it was sold in Indiana. Hoosier Lottery officials say it was sold at a Speedway gas station in Cambridge City, Indiana, located just north of Connersville. No word yet from the lucky winner or winners. Cambridge City is a town of about 2,000 residents. Town Council President Mark McCarty says if the winner is a local, it won't take long for word to spread about who it is. Of course, the town’s proximity to I-70 has also led to speculation that it could have been purchased by a traveler just passing through. Still dreaming of hitting it big? There was no grand prize winner in last weekend's Powerball drawing, so that jackpot now stands at $311 million with the next drawing on Wednesday, July 13.
