What To Expect At The Upcoming LMH Field Hearing

This field hearing will be held tomorrow night at the Bright Elementary School at 6:00 PM.

(Bright, Ind.) - A field hearing has been scheduled by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) to hear public comments on the LMH Utilities, Inc.'s rate increase.

On January 17, LMH Utilities, Inc. filed an amendment to their application. The original proposed percentage of 94% decreased to 24%.

The purpose of this hearing is for the public to speak directly to the Commission or submit written comments.

Since this is a pending case, the commissioners and judge will not be answering any questions or engaging in discussion.

A final decision will be made by the Commission in the form of an Order in the coming months. The Commission will carefully consider all evidence found, including the submitted written comments.

All Orders are considered weekly Conference meetings, held on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM. Agendas for the week are posted on Monday mornings.

Members of the public can stay up to date by checking the Conference agendas webpage or signing up for updates.

This field hearing will be held tomorrow night at the Bright Elementary School at 6:00 PM.

If you are unable to attend this hearing, you may submit written comments on the case to the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor at www.in.gov/oucc/2361/htm. You may also submit comments by mail, email, or fax. Mail can be sent to the Consumer Services Staff Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor at 115 W. Washington St., Suite 1500 South Indianapolis, IN 46204. Email your comments to uccinfo@oucc.IN.gov. Faxes can be sent to (317) 232-5923.
