Tuesday was Election Day in Ohio.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - Ohio voters went to the ballot box on Tuesday.
Locally, Harrison, Cleves and Addyston had races or levies to vote on.
In the City of Harrison, six candidates were vying for four seats for Council At-Large. Of the 6,234 votes cast, Tanner Dole received 1,189 votes (19.07%). Patty VanCleve followed with 1,085 (17.4%). Edward Whitt and William Neyer rounded out the top four with 1,078 and 1,010 votes, respectively.
Falling short were Kathie Ragar-Lawyer (948) and Brad William Noes (924).
In other election results, Addyston and Cleves residents voted in favor of a public safety levy.
In Addyston, a $5 million levy was proposed to cover rising costs for police and fire protection. Homeowners will pay between $175 and $525 dollars per year depending on the value of their home.

The Cleves' levy is for an additional $4.5 million. Homeowners will pay approximately $158 for every $100,000 of property value. This levy aims to generate more than $375,000 annually to pay for contracts with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Miami Township Fire Department.
