The recognition took place at the annual ISP Awards Ceremony.

(Versailles, Ind.) - This week, Trooper Payton Utterback, ISP-Versailles District was honored by Superintendent Anthony Scott as being the top DUI Enforcement Trooper for the Versailles District in 2024.
In 2024, Trooper Utterback arrested 39 impaired drivers on the streets of the Versailles District.
In addition to his efforts in taking impaired drivers off the streets, he had 950 traffic stops, 174 criminal arrests, and investigated 50 crashes.
Lt. Paul Adams, Commander of the ISP-Versailles Post, stated, "Trp. Utterback should be commended for his outstanding efforts in 2024, particularly in the area of DUI enforcement. His dedication and commitment to taking impaired drivers off of our roadways undoubtedly has made our roadways and communities safer."
