Versailles Man Sentenced After Pleading Guilty To Child Molesting

The allegations first came about in October of 2017.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – A Versailles man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to child molesting.

Duane M. Meadows was sentenced on August 7 to eight years behind bars with two years suspended to probation.

The sentencing was handed down after Meadows plead guilty to two counts of Child Molesting (Level 4 Felony).

The charges stem from an incident in October of 2017, when Meadows was accused of inappropriately touch two children under the age of 14.

Meadows has been credited with 292 actual days served prior to sentencing.
