UPDATE: Vehicle Fire Shuts Down State Road 56

UPDATE: State Road 56 has reopened at Thuermer Hollow Road in Ohio County.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says State Road 56 has reopened at the scene of the earlier vehicle fire near Thuermer Hollow Road.

(Ohio County, Ind.) - A vehicle fire has shut down State Road 56.

The incident reportedly happened on State Road 56 near Thuermer Hollow around 12:15 p.m.

State Road 56 is closed both directions between Aurora and Rising Sun until further notice.
