Utility Work Planned on State Road 156 in Switzerland County

The three-month long project is expected to start next week.

(Vevay, Ind.) – Utility work is scheduled to begin next week in Switzerland County.

According to INDOT, the work will begin on or after Monday, August 12 along State Road 156, just west of Markland Dam.

The project is expected to take up to three months, weather permitting.

Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of work. Traffic controls will be in place with flaggers on site during work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones.
