UPDATE: Missing Greensburg Child Found Safe; Two In Custody On Kidnapping Charge

A Silver Alert issued for a missing Greensburg child has been cancelled.

The Greensburg Police Department confirmed Friday afternoon that Ryan Turner, 8, was located safely at a hotel near County Line Road and Interstate 65 in Greenwood.

Turner was with his non-guardian biological mother, Alicia Turner, and a female identified as Lucy Boyer. The two had left Greensburg with the child, without permission from his custodial guardian.

Both females are in custody on a preliminary charge of kidnapping.

The Indiana Department of Child Services is working with law enforcement to find safe placement.

(Greensburg, Ind.) – A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a missing 8-year-old from Greensburg.

The Greensburg Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Ryan Turner.

Turner was last seen on Wednesday with his non-custodial mother Alicia Turner. They were traveling in a gray 2017 Jeep Compass with an Indiana paper plate of P162542.

Ryan Turner is described as 4’8” weighing about 55 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be in danger.
