Lawrenceburg Community Schools are on lockdown Friday afternoon.

Update published at 2:43 p.m.:
All lockdowns have been lifted at Lawrenceburg Community Schools.
Superintendent Karl Galey tweeted that there was no active shooter incident at Lawrenceburg Schools, but a threat was made and being investigated at Greendale Middle School.

Galey added that all precautions were taken to keep students and faculty safe.
Lawrenceburg Police have been credited with helping with the investigation.
Original story published at 12:19 p.m.:
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - All buildings part of Lawrenceburg Community Schools are on lockdown Friday.
The "perimeter lockdown" was ordered at around noon Friday. Police are on scene at the schools, which added new school resource officers this school year.
LCSC Superintendent Karl Galey tweeted about the situation.
Lawrenceburg Schools are currently in perimeter lockdowns while a report is investigated. Lawrenceburg Police are involved in investigation.

Galey said no further information could be immediately provided.
St. Lawrence School in Lawrenceburg is also on an exterior lockdown as a result of the investigation.
