INDIANAPOLIS – Unemployment rates continue to drop in southeastern Indiana.
According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, all five southeastern Indiana counties in Eagle Country had a jobless rate of 1.2 percent or lower in December.
Ohio County led the way with the lowest jobless rate in the area at 0.9 percent.
The statewide average stands at 2.7 percent, which is a record low for the state dating back to 1976.
