UPDATE: According to Dearborn County Dispatch, US 50 in Dillsboro is now open. Delays in the area are possible while crews rerun utility lines.
Dispatch also confirmed the crew worker trapped in a Bobcat was removed safely.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - U.S. 50 is closed at Short Street in Dillsboro due to downed power lines.
According to Dearborn County Dispatch, a construction crew took out a utility line. Additionally, a utility worker is reportedly stuck in a Bobcat with a high voltage line on it.
U.S. 50 is expected to remain closed in both directions until further notice.
Duke Energy has been called to the scene.
