Both patients were airlifted from the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a blue Ford Focus, driven by Robert Tingle, 56, of Aurora, was traveling east on State Road 350 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a white Buick driven by Gary Smith, 45, of Moores Hill.
Tingle and Smith both had to be extricated by emergency responders and sustained serious injuries.
They were airlifted from the scene to UC Medical Center for treatment.
Preliminary findings indicate that alcohol and/or drugs may have been a contributing factor.

(Aurora, Ind.) - First responders were dispatched to a head-on collision on Monday night in Aurora.
The crash was reported by Dearborn County Communications around 11:25 p.m. at the intersection of Shawnee Drive and State Road 350.
Two patients were airlifted from the scene with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
