Two Injured In Accident On U.S. 52

Drivers in the two-vehicle accident sustained non-life threating injuries.

(Metamora, Ind.) - Franklin County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the corner of U.S. 52 and Duck Creek Road in Metamora on Thursday, April 25.

The incident occurred when Willie Ferguson, 85, of Metamora pulled into the path an oncoming pick-up truck.

The driver of the pick-up William L. Hodge, 35, of Metamora was traveling eastbound on U.S. 52 when Ferguson pulled into the path.

The two men along with Hodge’s passenger Cody E. Elza were all transported by Franklin County E.M.S to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, for treatment of non-life threating injuries that were sustained in the accident.
