(Jennings County, Ind.) - Two drivers were killed in a New Year's Day crash in Jennings County.
Jennings County Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash on U.S. 50 near CR 20 W. around 6:30 p.m.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2016 Toyota Camry driven by Hauley Reynolds, 31, of Columbus, traveling westbound on U.S. 50, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 2008 Nissan Altima driven by Billy Sexton III, 32, of North Vernon.
The impact of the crash caused both drivers to sustain fatal injuries. A passenger in Sexton's vehicle was transported from the scene and flown to Methodist Hospital in Indiana for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and toxicology results are pending on both drivers.
