UPDATE: A proposed rezone needed for a new truck stop on U.S. 50 is on-hold.

Aurora city attorney Alan Miller says the Ports Petroleum LLC rezone request which had been planned for Monday, May 13 has been tabled. Miller says the city was recently informed that the project is currently on hold.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Aurora City Council will consider a zone change needed to make way for a new truck stop in the city this evening.
Ports Petroleum LLC has plans to construct a Fuel Mart Truck Stop on about four acres of land along U.S. 50 at Manchester Landing.
The Aurora Plan Commission recommended approval of the zone change, with conditions, back in March.
Aurora City Council could hold a final vote Monday on the necessary zone change. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Aurora City Building.
