The 10th annual event is in celebration of Arbor Day.

(Brookville, Ind.) – Arbor Day is right around the corner.
In celebration, the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting their 10th annual Tree Giveaway and Canned Food Drive on Friday, April 30.
Over 700 tree seedlings will be available at the Franklin County SWCD office on Oxford Pike in Brookville starting at 9:00 a.m.
Tree seedlings will be given away on a first come basis with a limit of five trees per person.
White oak, white pine, river birch, and tulip tree will be available.
Attendees are asked to bring a canned food item (not required) in exchange for five free trees. All donated items will go to food pantries in Brookville.
This year’s tree giveaway will be a drive up event.
