A Sunman man is facing drug charges.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - A Sunman man was taken into custody last Thursday after allegedly fleeing the scene of a possible domestic altercation.
Aaron Sloan, 43, was located driving along State Road 48 in the Napoleon area a short time after Sunman and Milan police were dispatched to a home in Sunman regarding the possible domestic altercation.
A Ripley County Sheriff's deputy initiated a stop on Sloan's vehicle and during the stop K-9 Dex conducted a free air sniff on the vehicle and gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle.
While conducting a probable cause search, deputies allegedly located methamphetamine, multiple bags of marijuana and a scale.
Sloan was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony, Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor.
