TQL Expansion in NKY to Create over 100 New Jobs

(Boone County, Ky.) – Approximately 125 new, full-time jobs will be created in Northern Kentucky.

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) announced this week expansion at three offices across Lexington, Louisville, and unincorporated Boone County.

The Cincinnati-based freight brokerage and third-party logistics company has operated in Kentucky for more than a decade. Their Boone County location has been in operation since 2012.

TQL’s expansion will support significant increased demand for the company’s transportation services, and create new entry-level and senior roles across sales, customer service and operations.

“Kentucky’s economy continues to grow, and our logistics sector is a major reason for that success,” Gov. Beshear said. “These expansions by TQL are incredible news, as the commitments will push the company’s statewide employment to well over 1,000 people. I want to thank TQL’s leadership for their faith in the commonwealth to continue to help their company grow. TQL and Kentucky is clearly a partnership that works, and I look forward to our continued growth together for years to come.”

Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore congratulated TQL on its incredible growth and welcomed the addition of well over 100 new jobs.

“With our ideal location, strong advanced manufacturing base and proximity to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), TQL’s addition of new jobs in Boone County makes sense,” Judge/Executive Moore said. “We welcome the 125 new supply chain management jobs and TQL’s expansion in Northern Kentucky.”

To encourage investment and job growth in the communities, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) today preliminarily approved three 10-year incentive agreements with the company under the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based agreements are based on the creation and retention of an aggregate 525 Kentucky-resident full-time jobs at the three locations over 10 years, along with annual wage and investment requirements.
