(New Marion, Ind.) - Air care was called to the scene of a serious crash on U.S. 421 on Tuesday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash took place near County Road 950 South.
Firefighters extricated four patients from the vehicles. Three of the patients were airlifted from the scene, while the other was transported via ambulance with unknown injuries.
New Marion VFD, Versailles Fire Rescue, Ripley County EMS, KDH EMS, Ripley County Sheriff's Office, Indiana State Police, Stat Flight and UC Air Medical assisted at the scene.
