An in-road sensor maintenance project is scheduled to start on Thursday.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – In-road sensor maintenance work will cause temporary nighttime lane closures on Interstate 74.
Work will take place on I-74 between Johnson Fork Road and U.S. 52 beginning on or after Thursday, August 15.
The lane closures are currently scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, August 15 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of westbound I-74 will close between Johnson Fork Road and U.S. 52 in Dearborn County.
- Friday, August 16 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. (weather permitting): The left lane of westbound I-74 will close between Johnson Fork Road and U.S. 52 in Dearborn County.
- Friday, August 16 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of eastbound I-74 will close between Johnson Fork Road and U.S. 52 in Dearborn County.
- Saturday, August 17 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. (weather permitting): The left lane of eastbound I-74 will close between Johnson Fork Road and U.S. 52 in Dearborn County.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones.
All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
