(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A temporary barricade is now in place on Old State Road 48 in Lawrenceburg.
The barricade is located at a slide spot between Riviera Drive and Heiner Heights.
The City of Lawrenceburg has previously reported that the blockade could be in place for up to a year while the City works to acquire a Community Crossing grant to pay for proper road repairs.
The barricade is seen as the safest thing for area motorists until road repairs can be made.
Access to Old State Road 48 is open from the bottom of the hill to Riviera Drive and from the top of the hill to Heiner Heights.
