Three Taylor High School singers performed with the Ohio All-State Choir at the Ohio Music Educators Association Professional Development Conference in Cleveland on Friday, February 3. They are senior Aryel Hawkins and juniors Grace Kelly and Hallie Mankhaus. It’s quite the honor for the students and the school. Only 150 students statewide are chosen to participate in the Ohio All-State Choir. Each of the students had the opportunity to sing for Dr. Brady Allred, the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Salt Lake City Choral Artists. Meanwhile, the Taylor Middle School Singers performed at the OMEA District Junior High Honors Choir on Friday and Saturday, February 10 and 11. The choir is made up of more than 150 of the best junior high singers in the Cincinnati area. The TMS singers who participated were Brianna Ausdenmoore, Emma Childs, Olivia Demaree, Samantha Grady, Isabella Hawkins, Mackenzie Heidkamp, Aria Loveless, Autumn Pursell, Allie Stevens, Peyton Wells, Nicholas Buirley, Will Forbes, Michael Hodge, Jack Kennedy, Dylan Lanham, Tony Martini, Michael Rapien, Nick Swope, Jared Ullmann, and Ethan Weiheer.
