Switz Co. Man Accused of Sex With Young Girl

(Madison, Ind.) - A Switzerland County main is accused of molesting a nine-year-old girl.

 

Madison Police led the investigation into the altercation that occurred in 2009 and 2010, the Madison Courier reported. Christopher Hankins, 41, allegedly locked himself in a bathroom with the girl and attacked her.

 

According to an affidavit, Hankins told police he did not have sex with the girl.

 

Hankins is charged with Child Molesting and Criminal Confinement. He is held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.

 

Hankins was on probation from Dearborn County at the time of his arrest. He was convicted of Forgery and Theft in Dearborn County in April 2010.
