Suspects Identified, One Arrested in Connection to Delhi Township Robbery

(Delhi, Oh.) – One person has been arrested in connection to an aggravated armed robbery in Delhi Township.

John Batiste, 28, of Mississippi, is currently incarcerated at Pearl River County Jail and awaiting extradition to Ohio for his alleged role in a June 4 robbery at the Rapid Run Carryout.

According to the Delhi Township Police Department, another suspect from Mississippi, identified as Jeremy McCastile, 34, remains at-large. McCastile has several warrants for his arrest in Mississippi, along with new indictments from Hamilton County, Ohio.

The suspects are accused of robbing the clerk at gunpoint.

Delhi Township Police have been assisted by the Picayune Mississippi Police Department.

Both Batiste and McCastile are facing charges of Aggravated Robbery and Weapons Under Disability.
