(Sunman, Ind.) – A water main break has been repaired in Sunman.
Sunman Utilities went to work on the break on the lower end of State Road 101 in downtown Sunman on Wednesday afternoon.
Within a couple hours of the break, utility workers reported a safe operating pressure, avoiding a water boil advisory.
Utility workers continued to work into the nighttime hours, battling freezing temperatures.
As of Thursday morning, the Town of Sunman reported that the initial water main break has been repaired, as has another break that was located further down the line.
Crew members were reported to be in good condition.
