Sunman Elementary 5th Grader Wins Art Contest

The contest consisted of designing a custom t-shirt to draw attention to the benefits of recycling.

(Sunman, Ind.) – A Sunman Elementary 5th grader was recently celebrated for winning an art contest.

The Town of Sunman partnered with Sunman Elementary School 5th graders for a contest to design a custom t-shirt to draw attention to the benefits of recycling.

Reagan Whitehead was named the winner.

He designed focused on the theme of Reduce, Reuse, Renew, Recycle, which can be seen below. 

Last Friday, Shirley Campbell, Carla Hacker, Cheryl Taylor and Sunman Elementary Art Teacher, Sarah Carr, presented Reagan with an art basket for winning the contest.
