The event happens Saturday at Lawrenceburg Civic Park

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Saturday, June 20 will be a busy day in downtown Lawrenceburg.
The day will start with the Lauren's Burg Hill 5K Run/Walk and 5-Mile event. Race day packet pickup will run from 5:45 to 7:00 a.m. Race day registration will begin at 6:00 a.m., followed by the start of the event at 7:22 a.m.
At 11:00 a.m., the Tastes of Summer opens at Civic Park. The free event will feature food trucks, kids activities, rides, beer garden and live music.
The following roads and parking lots will be closed on Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m. until midnight Saturday, June 20:
- E. High St. between Walnut St. to the alley between Short St. & Elm St.
- Short St. between New St. to William St.
- Mural parking lot on High St. next to Strong’s Pizza.
Additional road closures and restrictions will be in place for the Lauren's Burg Hill event, which will start in downtown Lawrenceburg, travel onto U.S. 50 and end at Lawrenceburg High School.
Directions to Ivy Tech parking garage entrances:
- High St. to Walnut St.
- US 50 to Walnut St.
- US 50 to Walnut St., left on Center St. right on Elm St.
- US 50 to Arch St., right at Center St. left on Elm St.
- US 50 to Hollywood Blvd. which turns into Center St. left on Elm St.
