(Sunman, Ind.) – It was a fun day in the sun for students at St. Nicholas School.

The school held their first-ever Mini 500 on Thursday.

With input from their second-grade buddies, eighth-grade students designed and made cars and served as the pit crew for their second-grade drivers.

The drivers completed 20 laps with the winners enjoying a carton of milk and the traditional kiss of the bricks seen at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Sorry, it doesn't look like there's any photos here just yet.
