SR 229 In Ripley County Will Close For One Day Sept. 23

Crews will install a new culvert on Monday, September 23, requiring the highway to be shut down.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - INDOT maintenance crews will close S.R. 229 just south of C.R. 50 E. in Ripley County on Monday, September 23, weather permitting, to replace a culvert.

The road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews complete the replacement. 

The official detour for the closure is S.R. 48 to S.R. 129.
