South Dearborn MS' Ullrich Advances To Regional Spelling Bee

Nathan Ullrich won the South Dearborn Middle School spelling bee.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Congratulations to Nathan Ullrich for winning the South Dearborn Middle School Spelling Bee held on Friday, January 25, 2019. 

Nathan is an 8th grade student and the son of Eric and April Ullrich of Aurora, Indiana. 

The runner-up was Max Burger, also an 8th grade student. 

The SDMS Spelling Bee pronouncer was Corben Slack, a South Dearborn High School senior who had won the SDMS spelling bee in 2014.

Nathan will now advance to the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee to be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, March 16, 2019.  The regional bee is sponsored by WCPO in Cincinnati.
