South Dearborn Business Students to Compete at Regional Leadership Conference

Placers will qualify for the state leadership conference in March.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Thirteen South Dearborn High School students will compete at the Business Professionals of America District 12 Regional Leadership Conference on Friday.

The event will be held at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg.

The 13 BPA students competing in 26 separate events are Taylor Compton, Callie Davidson, Sophia Ferguson, Cain Hopkins, Luka Jones, Dasha Martin, Malia Martin, Olivia Mclane, Carson Osborne, Isabel Pearson, Zander Schaefer, Emily Steigerwald, and Gracie Vanwinkle.

The events they will be competing in include Accounting, Finance, Interview Skills, Human Resources, Legal Procedures, Medical Procedures, Speech, Graphics, Web Design and more.

Any students that place at the Regional Leadership Conference, will qualify for the State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis this coming March.
